The talk will also feature information about the Reserve’s new research vessel. \nThe Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Minnesota and Wisconsin Sea Grant programs have teamed up to offer this series of informal evening talks about the St. Louis River Estuary. Local elected officials and environmental agencies responding to the incident have been invited. Agencies attending will be given time to discuss their response\, timeline\, and how they disseminate information. Following presentations\, small groups will be formed\, and a facilitator will be present to guide discussion and capture key ideas and concerns. The community listening session will be held on Monday\, May 14\, 6 – 8 PM at Superior Middle School in the Event Center / Cafeteria.
