She will also provide water sample kits to people who are interested in collecting their well water to contribute to a public groundwater database. \nThe talks are a partnership between the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Minnesota and Wisconsin Sea Grant programs. \nWeather willing\, other River Talks will be held on Nov. 14\, 2018 and Jan. 9\, Feb. 13\, March 5\, April 10 and May 8\, 2019. For over a century\, non-native plants\, fish and invertebrates have been silently invading the Great Lakes and are transforming the ecosystem from top to bottom\, threatening ecological diversity and local economies. \nMaking Waves chronicles the path of this invasion to the present day.
