The Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve seeks a qualified and outgoing student to assist in their environmental and science education program. The Rivers2Lake education program provides year-long in-depth training and mentoring in outdoor and inquiry-based learning on the Lake Superior Watershed to teachers in regional schools. This may include curriculum development, logistical planning and advertising for Rivers2Lake public programs or events, visits to area schools to assist with Rivers2Lakes lessons and field experiences, assistance with the Rivers2Lake evaluation process and teacher training events, as well as other Rivers2Lake related tasks as required.
The position runs from September 24, 2018 until May 31st, 2019, with roughly 8-10 hours per week.
