Michael Schwerin is currently attending Northland College for a major in elementary education and a minor in science and outdoor education. His passion for teaching curriculum through Place-Based Education comes from working in the outdoor education field and independent studies for his major. He has worked both nationally and internationally teaching leadership and environmental studies curriculum for National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
