The River Talks: Why is the Water Green?
Get to know the river in your backyard! Join us for The River Talks – a free learning series hosted at the Lake Superior Estuarium.
This River Talk features Hannah Nicklay & Addi Knoll from The Lake Superior Reserve.
Ever wonder why the water looks the way it does? Lake Superior Reserve staff use sensors, lab tests, and years of data to understand the estuary. Join for a behind the scenes look at how they monitor estuary health and what changes they have discovered.
Participants may request an interpreter, materials in an alternative language or format, or other services to make this event more accessible, by contacting the Reserve at least 20 days before the event. There’s no added cost to you for these services. The University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension provides equal opportunities in employment and programming in compliance with state and federal law.
