Lake Superior Reserve launches improved website under new domain
August 09, 2017
The Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve, located on the St. Louis River Estuary in Superior, Wisconsin, has launched a new and improved website under a new domain: LakeSuperiorReserve.org.
The new website marks a major improvement from the Reserve’s previous site. It features intuitive navigation, a refreshed, modern design and useful, up-to-date information for the public and Lake Superior Reserve partners.
Anyone can now access the website to learn more about the year-round scientific research and educational programming the Reserve and its partners conduct. Live weather data from a weather tower in Pokegama Bay is also available 24/7 on the new site. The Reserve will soon add live water quality data to the website as well.
The Lake Superior Reserve is proud to share the new website with its many partners and the public in local communities and across the country. “This new site offers major improvements for anyone interested in learning about us and our work, and we welcome any feedback that will help us improve the site even more,” says Reserve Manager Erika Washburn.
