About Melissa

As a Climate Resilience Specialist, Melissa works to enhance the resilience of human and natural infrastructure in the St. Louis River Estuary and the Lake Superior watershed by supporting the Reserve’s Coastal Training Program and the Stewardship Program.

Melissa received a bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and a bachelor of science in Natural Resource Management-Environmental Education & Interpretation from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She worked for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension in Dunn County before joining the Lake Superior Reserve.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys gardening, hiking, creating art, and canoeing.
