A free, informal speaker series about the St. Louis River Estuary in Duluth-Superior

The River Talk series continues at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Lake Superior Estuarium (3 Marina Drive, Superior, Wisconsin). Deb DeLuca, director of the Duluth Seaway Port Authority, will present, “The Duluth Seaway Port Authority – A Career Journey.”

DeLuca is the first woman to direct the Duluth Seaway Port Authority. During her talk, she will describe her background and give tips for people interested in a similar career.

The Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Minnesota and Wisconsin Sea Grant programs offer this series of informal evening talks about the St. Louis River Estuary. Everyone is invited and refreshments will be available.
